Audax TW025A1-12X9 1″ textile dome tweeter with 12×9 cm face plate.

Audax TW025A1-12×9 is a high-quality 8 ohm 25 mm voice coil tweeter, a direct replacement for the Audax HD100D25 (and other rectangular flanged Audax tweeters)  with ferrofluid and with improved performance. Audax drivers are used in a number of finished loudspeaker products , from Mission to Von Schweikert , Wilson etc. The catenary (curved) shape of this textile dome provides stiffness at the tip, so the moving mass behaves more like a perfect piston. This prevents out of phase break-up and the resulting sound is smooth, clean and effortless.
